Ryan Reynolds Bares Super Butt In “Deadpool 2” Teaser

See the Marvel mutant mercenary strip and spoof Superman.

Deadpool knows his face isn’t his best feature.

Star Ryan Reynolds builds buzz for his upcoming Deadpool sequel with a cheeky new teaser, which is now airing in theaters before screenings of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine flick, Logan.

In the clip, which Reynolds shared yesterday on his YouTube channel, foul-mouthed anti-hero Deadpool spoofs Superman with a not-so-quick costume change in a somewhat anachronistic phone booth. He also treats fans to an extended look at his buns of steel pressed up against the glass. Take notes, Henry Cavill.

“I spent way too long in the phone booth,” Deadpool quips to the dead body of the man he intended to save. “I don’t know how the other guys do it so quickly.” Then he manages to get in a few jabs at Jackman’s Australian accent.

The clip, which announces the sequel’s release date as “not soon enough,” ends with an epic text scroll that appears to be a book report on Ernest Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea. Sure, why not?

Fans of the X-Men comic books will note that the graffiti on the phone booth references the character Nathan Summers, a.k.a. Cable, who will appear in Deadpool 2. But don’t worry about it if you’re just here for brief comic nudity.

And with a butt like his, the arguably pansexual mutant should have no problem getting the boyfriend that Reynolds has said he wants for the character.
