Ryan Reynolds: I Don't Understand Why Marriage Equality Is So Polarizing In The U.S.

Like us Ryan Reynolds thinks its "fantastic" that America has finally gotten onboard the marriage equality express. He just doesn't understand what's taken so long.

Appearing on HuffPo Live to promote his new thriller, Self/Less, Reynolds said he's kind of baffled by the furor over the issue.

"I find it so kind of amusing how polarizing it can be here [in the United States]," said Blake Lively . Ted Cruz is saying it's 'judicial tyranny,' and to me it seems like a given," Reynolds said.

"We shouldn't be in a state of awe and celebration for it; we should be taking it for granted like regular marriage at this point."

Well, considering Reynolds' Canadian homeland has had marriage equality for a decade, maybe it is old hat for him.
