LGBT Comedians Roast Trump To Give Samantha Bee A Break

Billy Eichner, Rhea Butcher, Cameron Esposito, and more lightened up the "Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner."

Even Samantha Bee gets tired of constantly having to rip Trump a new one all by herself. So to commemorate Trump's 100th day in office, last night the Full Frontal host enlisted comedians, actors and writers, to roast the current administration at the "Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner" special.

The lineup included Patton Oswalt, Norman Lear, Carl Reiner, Retta, and Inside Amy Schumer breakout Bridget Everett, who couldn't even say the words “President Trump.”

“Trump is like that weird high school friend of yours that shows up at the party, doesn’t bring any beer, drinks everybody’s liquor, is weird to all the girls, and on the way out doesn’t condemn hate crimes,” deadpanned Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani.

The roast also featured funny LGBT folks like Billy Eichner, former SNL scribe Paula Pell, and Take My Wife couple Rhea Butcher and Cameron Esposito, who showed Trump how menswear is done.

“I’m in Trump drag,” Esposito joked. “But my tie doesn’t have tape because I’m an adult.”

“Ever notice Betsy DeVos and a duffel bag full of orphans’ bones are never seen in the same room together?” Eichner asked. “Makes you think.”
