Sara Gilbert revealed she was pregnant yesterday on The Talk, the morning talk show she co-hosts on CBS.

Gilbert let the news slip during a "facing your fears" segment—admitting why she couldn't conquer her fear of lying down on a bed of nail while a cinderblock was broken over her stomach. (Um, anyone else think that's a pretty bizarre orchestrated ratings stunt fear?)

"I actually can't do it, because I'm pregnant," she told her co-stars. "I feel good, I feel really good … at first I was really tired."

This is the first child for Gilbert and wife Linda Perry, though Gilbert has a son and a daughter from her relationship with producer Ali Adler.

Rabbi_Mikie_GoldsteinConservative Judaism has ordained its first openly gay rabbi.

British-born Mikie Goldstein, 49, finished his rabbinical studies at New York's Jewish Theological Seminary earlier this year. He was installed as rabbi last week at Adat Shalom Emanuel Synagogue in Israel.

The Conservative movement, also known as Masorti, began allowing out Jews to get ordained in 2012.

‘My motto is to give Judaism back to the people,"Goldstein told The Times of Israel. "The Orthodox establishment in [Israel] has hijacked Judaism and decided there is only one way to be Jewish. I realized that if someone is going to make a stand, it’s going to be me. So I got off my behind, and I went to study."

Goldstein's husband of 20 years, Isi Yanouka, is Israel’s ambassador to the Ivory Coast.

equality floridaA Broward County judge who struck down Florida's ban on same-sex marriage last month has rescinded his ruling—on a technicality.

“It has come to this Court’s attention that the Petitioner, Heather Brassner, has failed to comply with [state law] by failing to notice the Office of the Attorney General of these proceedings by either registered or certified mail,” Broward Circuit Judge Dale Cohen wrote in his order to vacate his August 4 ruling.

Brassner’s attorney, Nancy Brodzki, had assumed her client's divorce would be finalized today, but got a call from Cohen’s office indicating the state had not been properly notified at the start of the case.

“The judge being a very thorough judge, obviously was doing all his research... and recognized that that rule and statute had not been strictly complied with,” said Brodzki. “He found one [error] and wants to correct it, so that his judgment, when it is entered, is not attacked on procedural grounds.”

Cohen indicated “the Parties may schedule a rehearing” at a later date.

A gay man committed suicide over the weekend in the parking lot of the West Hollywood Sheriff''s office.

The unnamed man actually called police headquarters and told the dispatcher he was going to kill himself. When asked where he was, he revealed he was in the station parking lot—but before officers could reach him, he fired his gun.

“He was not intoxicated, and he was very matter of fact,” said Lieutenant Sergio A. Aloma. “He told the dispatcher that he picked the sheriff’s station because he wanted sheriff’s deputies or some other professional to find him—not members of the public or his neighbors.”

While the man made no mention of a partner or a reason for his actions, Aloma did say he disclose a health issue in a note . “I think, based on information we have thus far, that he may have had a health issue that contributed to his decision to take his own life."

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. If you feel suicidal, please call 800-273-TALK. If you're a young LGBT person in need of help, please visit The Trevor Project  website or call the Lifeline: 1-866-488-7386.
