Spandex, here I come
Scarlett Johansson may be suiting up as Black Widow once again it seems. At the premiere of her new film We Bought A Zoo in NYC last night, the actress told NewNowNext that a spin-off is not out of the question at all. “If the audience wants it, I’ll squeeze into that suit,” the actress told us.
As anyone who knows any Avengers fan can attest, those kids are going to want a Black Widow film. Badly.
The problem however may be that the female superhero films have failed to really take off. Elektra, Catwoman, Aeon Flux — all box office bombs. Even on television, the much anticipated Wonder Woman had its pilot order pulled.
That being said, if there is anyone who may be able to buck this trend it is Scarlett as Black Widow. And I am sure a few of the guys would stop by for some cameo support.
Until then, you can catch Scarlett, Matt Damon and Elle Fanning in We Bought A Zoo when it is released nationwide December 23.
