Class Actress is a Class Act
Hey, welcome back to “Scouting,” a brand new NewNowNext web series where we take up and coming performing artists and engage them in traditional scouting activities. From knot tying to bird watching, the musicians of tomorrow are the NewNowNext Scouts of today.
For this installment, I met up with Class Actress, otherwise known as Elizabeth Harper, to earn our stargazing badge on top of a building on the Lower East Side. Elizabeth’s electronic music is full of romance and longing, and also some pretty fun disco beats.
While we worked, we talked about Elizabeth’s new single, “Keep You,” that’s been gaining a lot of buzz, and her upcoming debut album Rapprocher. We also played a little game I like to call Scout’s Honor.
