You knew it, we knew it, and every Bachelor fan in America knew it, but now ABC has finally made it official: Sean Lowe of Dallas, Texas, who came in third in line for Emily Maynard’s heart on the last season of The Bachelorette, is our new Bachelor. Filming started over a week ago, so we’re not quite sure what took ABC so long (spoiler-avoidance for the first few dates, possibly?), but we’re glad that we were right. (Along with everyone else.)
The only question now is: Is America ready for a white, Southern Bachelor who “believes in the process”?
