Jinkx Monsoon, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 5, is the subject of the new documentary, Drag Becomes Him, which follows the narcoleptic Jewish housewife (a.k.a. Jerick Hoffer) before and after her meteoric rise to fame.

It's a real treat, with interviews going back years before Jinkx became a household name. (Well, in certain households anyway.)

"I knew he was going to be famous," Jerick's mom boasts in the film, directed by Alex Berry."I thought it was going to be with football, so I gave him a football name."

Drag Becomes Him had its world premiere April 29 at Seattle's Cinerama Theatre, and photographer Nate Gowdy captured all the glitz and glamour!
