Victims Capture Photo Of Man Yelling Anti-Gay Slurs, Pointing Gun At Them

The Seattle Police Department is still on the lookout for the unknown man.

The Seattle Police Department's bias crimes investigators are searching for a man who pulled a gun on two pedestrians, as evidenced by a disturbing photo that has since gone viral.

The unknown man reportedly followed a 23-year-old and 30-year-old in a black Volvo while yelling anti-LGBT slurs and throwing things at them from his window.

According to a statement from a Seattle police spokesperson Thursday, the pair were crossing the street when they "passed in front of [the] black Volvo, which was stopped at the intersection." Once the traffic light changed and the victims began to walk, the driver started "shouting comments about the victims' sexual orientation."

The car disappeared for a moment, but soon returned and began to trail the victims.

A passenger in the vehicle allegedly threw a bottle at the pair, striking the 23-year-old on the arm. The Volvo sped away, but the victims caught up to it later and tried to take a photo of the license plate.

As they approached the car, a man with a heavy build came out onto the street and pointed a gun at them. As he did so, one of the victims quickly snapped a photo and ducked behind another vehicle.

The photo was shared on Facebook early Thursday morning and has since gained thousands of likes and shares. Police report that they are still on the lookout for the suspects.

This is just the latest in a recent string of gun-related crimes in Seattle. Earlier this week, five people were shot in 24 hours in the city, leaving one person dead.
