Selena Gomez Reportedly Enters Mental Health Treatment Facility
Last month, the singer announced she was taking a break from social media.
According to TMZ, pop singer Selena Gomez has entered a mental health facility after having an "emotional breakdown" related to her ongoing health problems.
The outlet reports that Gomez received treatment at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles when her white blood cell count became low. A decrease in white blood cells is often in those with active Lupus.
Late last month, Gomez announced she was taking a break from social media to live life.
Gomez has been open in the past about her health issues.
In 2015, the told Billboard she took a break from the spotlight because she had Lupus.
"I was diagnosed with lupus, and I've been through chemotherapy," the singer said. "That's what my break was really about. I could've had a stroke."
