Seth Rudetsky, Jack Plotnick Unleash Laughter, Disco Music With "Disaster": WATCH

Theater mavens Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick have combined two of the best elements of 1970s pop culture—disco music and disaster movies—into Disastera gloriously campy musical that sees a group of lost souls confronted with just about every natural catastrophe known to man. Seriously, we're talking earthquakes, fires, tidal waves—even killer bees.

Along the way audiences are treated to hilarious versions of 70s classics like "Hot Stuff," "I Am Woman," "Knock On Wood," and "Daybreak."

NewNowNext caught up with the talented twosome to talk about the show, disaster-movie conceits and pint-size wonder Jonah Verdon, who takes on the twin roles of twins Ben and Lisa. Buckle up and check it all out below!

Disaster is now running at  St. Luke's Theatre, 308 W 46th Street, in New York
