Sex and the City may be returning to a theater near you, according to series creator Michael Patrick King. In an interview with EW, the 2 Broke Girls producer says  there’s still “one story left” to tell about the iconic New York sisterhood.

Could it be Carrie Bradshaw as a mom? Stranger things have happened.

"Sarah Jessica and I both know what that final chapter is. That doesn’t mean it will or should be told, but I do think there’s one story left. Whether it ever happens is a whole other situation," says King. "But there’s four girls, and those girls are still in my mind. There are other stories to tell and characters that haven’t even been written yet."

Parker has talked up a SATC reunion herself, as recently as January, but admits the clock is ticking. "A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell,” SJP reveals. “But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”

Oh, but what fabulous muumuus they’d be!
