Harry Shum Jr. and Matthew Daddario Love “Shadowhunters” Thirst Tweets

#Malec forever.

“Issa meal.”

Shadowhunters snacks Harry Shum Jr. and Matthew Daddario recently sat down together for Buzzfeed to read some of your thirstiest tweets.

If you're not familiar with Freeform's supernatural drama series, based on the Mortal Instruments YA books, Shum plays bisexual warlock Magnus Bane opposite Daddario as gay demon hunter Alec Lightwood, and their chemistry is supernaturally sexy.

Magnus and Alec have been predictably dubbed "Malec" by fans, but these thirsty tweeters are also Team Shumdario.

"Jesus personally handcrafted Matthew Daddario out of a huge block of sexy," writes one fan. "It's hot. It's sex. It's heaven. It's Shumdario," posts another.

"You thirsty as hell! I love it," gushes Daddario, who won't excuse a thirsty typo. "Where has this been all my life? This is the thirst I’m looking for."

"They’re dehydrated," Shum says.

Shum and Daddario personally accepted the Outstanding Drama Series honor for Shadowhunters at the 2017 GLAAD Media Awards.

“I play an openly proud bisexual warlock and a person of color that’s in a relationship with a recently out gay shadowhunter who hunts demons for a living,” Shum told the crowd. “I don’t think that this combination has ever existed on TV.”

Daddario likewise praised Freeform and parent company Disney for “committing themselves to portraying characters of every kind and every sexuality in order to create a better world.”

Unfortunately, Freeform has canceled Shadowhunters after three seasons. The two-hour series finale airs May 13.
