Can a 400-year-old warlock find love with a demon slayer who's new to same-sex relationships?

That's one of the storylines that plays out in ABC Family/FreeForm's upcoming sci-fi series Shadowhunters, where sparks fly between "free-wheeling bisexual" Magnus Bane (Harry Shum Jr) and hunter Alec Lightwood (Matthew Daddario).

We hit the Shadowhunters set and talked to both Shum and Daddario about #Malec, which both say runs deeper than physical attraction. "Why do you love someone? It's not always clear," says Daddario.

"You might be able to pin down one or two reasons... but there are other [things that] are not always definable."
