A new dynamic duo of single-named superstars is forming before our eyes: Shakira and Rihanna will be releasing "Can't Remember to Forget You" next week.  But will we call the team-up Shakirhanna or Rikira?!

According to MTV, Pitbull had dropped hints about the song in a discussion of his recent collaboration with Ke$ha: "The person we were looking at first to work on that record was actually Rihanna, and Rihanna had something she had to do with Shakira, so she wasn't able to work on our record," he shared in a radio interview last month.

The news was later made official in a twitter exchange with Rihanna:

Shakira is currently working on a new full-length album, a follow up to her 2010 Sale el Sol, and will be returning as a coach on the sixth season of The Voice, starting February 24. Meanwhile, Rihanna has also revealed plans for her next album, following her 2012 release of Unapologetic.
