October is a busy month for fright queen Sharon Needles, what with all the seances, murders and demonic possessions. Oh yeah, and parties.
Our favorite Drag Race goth goddess with be spending Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts, the witch capital of America, where she will be crowned the spooky city’s official Scream Queen in honor of her advocacy on behalf of LGBT youth.
Sharon will accept the crown at the Hawthorne Hotel’s Scream Out Loud party, sponsored by Go Out Loud.
The event—which includes a tribute to the Halloween camp classic Hocus Pocus and tunes from DJ Gay Jim— promises to celebrate “Salem’s Halloween heritage, our infamous past and our current progressive community, which values individuals who help non-discrimination and anti-bullying acts.” (Tickets can be bought here.)
