Pop sensation Shawn Mendes has amassed quite a following thanks to his catchy tunes like "Treat You Better" and "In My Blood." Now thanks to BuzzFeed, the singer knows exactly how his fans feel about his heartthrob good looks.

BuzzFeed's video team brought the 19-year-old face-to-face with the thirstiest (and apparently filthiest) tweets about the musician they could find. Many of them were too much for the "Stitches" singer to handle.

"I would let Shawn Mendes tea...nope, not reading that," the star said stopping himself halfway through the not-safe-for-work Twitter exchange.

Some tweets did flatter the singer.

"How can someone not like Shawn Mendes," one admirer asked. "He's sweet, talented, and HAVE YOU SEEN HIS BACK MUSCLES? MY GOD!"

"Well, thank you. That's sweet," the performer replied.
