Sigur Ros may be on hiatus for the next year, but luckily out-frontman Jónsi Birgisson doesn’t seem to have any vacay plans in the works. His first solo album “Go” drops next month and dates for a huge North American tour have already been announced.
And as if that wasn’t enough, four acoustic videos were released onto the internets today for the magical first single “Go Do,” as well as “Stars in Still Water,” “Boy Lilikoi,” and, one of the few non-English tracks on the album, “Kolnidur.”
Seriously you guys, even though the weather has suddenly dropped 20 degrees and they’re saying its gonna snow (I know, really!?) I can’t help but be in an amazing mood when I listen to these songs. Even the official vid for “Go Do” has me smiling…and wishing I had more feathers in my wardrobe.
And just because it’s Friday and this is the cutest thing ever, check out Jonsi and his boyfriend/co-producer’s vegan recipe show. I’m not exactly sure what Nammi Nammi is but I definitely want some now.
