And contrary to what you may be thinking, the show is not just some bitchy, shallow, reality show following some wannabe TV star as he flounces around the world of fashion and media. I mean, it is sort of that BUT… It’s actually also sweet, funny and delightful. Really.
Robert Verdi has been popping up on TV forevah, dressing celebs, commenting on the fashions of First Ladies and Oscar winners on everything from CNN to Entertainment Tonight to Good Morning America. And on his new show, he’s scheming to become an international mega-brand. Like Martha Stewart meets Oprah meets Walt Disney, maybe?
But underneath the brutish commandeering, the pushyness, and the domination of his beleaguered staff lies lots of wit and heart. Neither of which you’ll really find on The Rachel Zoe Project (Am I lying?).
