Somebody Snatched Michael C. Hall's "Hedwig" Wig. The "Drag Race" Queens React!

Michael C. Hall is settling nicely into the lead role in Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, where he recently stepped in to replace outgoing star Andrew Rannells. Well he was, anyway, until some trifling fool stole his wig!

Page Six is reporting that the feather blond number the Dexter star sports in the Tony-winning musical got mopped from the Belasco Theatre after a recent performance.

In a climactic scene in the show, Hedwig yanks off her wig and throws it onto the stage floor. “Normally, the crew gets it immediately after the curtain call,” a spy told the paper. But on Saturday night, “the wig was nowhere to be found. They suspect an eager fan grabbed it [off the stage] and made off with it.”

As any Drag Race star can confirm, you do not mess with a queen's wig.

“I’m afraid for the poor person who did this," teased producer David Binder. "Because Hedwig will find you—she'll hunt you down and do unspeakable things to you.”

Binder warns the thief not to wear the iconic hairpiece at the legendary Greenwich Village Halloween Parade on Friday. "[Hedwig] will snatch it right off your head, and if she takes a handful of your actual hair, I can’t be held responsible.”

Maybe Roxxxy Andrews has an extra wig on her head she can spare?

No, but seriously, who could this criminal be? Who would want to potentially derail a Broadway production of Hedwig, forcing producers to scurry for a replacement?
