The Spice Girls asked us to “Tell me what you want / What you really, really want,” and God, a woman and a lesbian, has delivered: “Scary Spice” Mel B has revealed that she and bandmate “Ginger Spice” Geri Horner (née Halliwell) had sex.
In a recent interview with British TV host Piers Morgan, Mel B, who’s openly bisexual, revealed that she and Horner had sex once during the heights of Spice Girls fame in the ’90s. Mel B joked that her bandmate in the beloved girl group “had great boobs,” reports the Daily Mail U.K., and went on to explain that it “just happened.”
“We were best friends,” she added, noting that it was a one-off thing, and the pair never had a romantic relationship.
Morgan called her admission a “Spice Girls bombshell,” and Mel B agreed: “Yeah, and I have said it now. All done. She is going to kill me and so is her husband.”
Why wasn’t THAT scene in Spiceworld?!?https://t.co/zfwc6vrUJ4

Horner has yet to comment on Mel B’s claim, though The Sun U.K. reports that she has privately denied it—and warned Mel B to “keep her mouth shut.” Horner is married to British race car driver Christian Horner, and the pair have two children together.
“Nothing ever happened,” an anonymous source told Daily Mail. “We all know Mel B loves a headline. It might have been funny 15–20 years ago, but it was over the top and not funny.”
Meanwhile, the timing of Mel B’s admission has fans wondering if she dropped the bomb to hype up the Spice Girls reunion tour, kicking off this May in Dublin, Ireland (sans “Posh Spice” Victoria Beckham, sadly.)
Either way, the revelation gives a whole new meaning to “If you wanna be my lover / You gotta get with my friends…”
