Troye Sivan, Lady Gaga, Andy Grammar Remind You To Turn Purple For Spirit Day

"Never forget that you have a voice and the power to build a kinder and braver world."

In honor of October 20 being Spirit Day iHeartMedia and GLAAD announced that Lady Gaga, Troye Sivan, Andy Grammer, and Elvis Duran have recorded radio PSAs in support of the day that takes a stand against LGBT bullying.

Lady Gaga's message:

Spirit Day began in 2010 after a string of gay teen suicides. GLAAD worked with schools, celebrities and media outlets to spread the word to wear purple—the color that symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag—in support of the LGBT community.

Troye Sivan's message:

Spirit Day occurs the third thursday of every October—which is National Bullying Prevention Month.

Listen to Andy Grammer's message:

Take a stand against bullying along with millions of others by going purple for the day. Wear purple and turn your social profile image that color to show you support the LGBT community.
