The sequel to the 2012 hit about a group of male strippers led by former real-life stripper Channing Tatum is back this summer along with returning stars Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Adam Rodriguez as well as some new additions... among them Stephen 'tWitch' Boss.

tWitch (who posted his Magic Mike XXL poster this past weekend on Instagram) has been popping up everywhere these days. He's become a staple on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he's a former contestant-turned-All-Star on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance and he's also married to dancer Allison Holker (herself a beloved SYTYCD All-Star and currently a pro on this season's Dancing With The Stars.)

This past weekend tWitch was in Las Vegas to film the final auditions for the upcoming twelfth season of SYTYCD. This season he'll be a captain/mentor to the 'Street Team' dance contestants, which are pitted against Travis Wall's 'Stage Team' of dancers. The new season also has new judges Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo as well as returning judge Nigel Lythgoe and everyone's favorite host, Cat Deeley.

We'll be posting additional SYTYCD interviews closer to the show's June 1st premiere, but here's what tWitch told TheBacklot this weekend about his role in Magic Mike XXL. Of particular note... details of his on-screen strip-off with Channing Tatum!
