Stevie Nicks Will Appear On "American Horror Story Coven," Tweets Ryan Murphy

Stevie Nicks isn't just the inspiration for this season of American Horror Story: Coven, she's going to appear in a guest-starring role.

Ryan Murphy, mastermind behind the AHC franchise, shared the news via Twitter today.

Now whether he specifically meant she was just on set or actually going before the cameras we can't be certain, but it would make sense for the White Witch to appear on the show. After all, Murphy has given the spotlight to an amazing litany of strong female entertainers, from Jessica Lange and Angela Bassett to Kathy Bates and Francis Conroy. And Misty Day, Lily Rabe's character on Coven, is obsessed with Nicks, playing her music and adopting her look and mannerisms.

In other American Horror Story news, the show has been renewed for a fabulous fourth season, with Bates and Bassett on board to return. Lange has already said next season will be her last.

American Horror Story: Coven airs on Wednesdays at 10pm on FX.
