Stuart Reardon, Rugby God, On The Cover of "Gay Times" Magazine: PHOTOS
Stuart Reardon is the epitome of why we love pro rugby players: Currently playing for AS Carcassonne in the South of France, Reardon's smart, funny and has a heart. And he's outspoken about Russia's inhumanity toward the LGBT community, even if he thinks going to the Games would make a bigger statement than boycotting: “What’s happened over there is disgusting," Reardon tells Gay Times magazine, who wisely put him on the cover for October. "If I was a gay athlete I think it would send a stronger message to go. Being in the public eye, you have a wider opportunity to voice your opinion to a wider audience and send a positive message. That would make more of an impact than boycotting.”
Okay, yes, we also love pro rugby players because they look like they've been carved from marble. May we present Exhibits A and B for your examination.
