Student Catches Teacher Watching Gay Porn During Class
A Florida teacher caught watching gay pornography during class has been placed on administrative leave.
Vadi Valez-Gonzalez, a ninth-grade reading teacher at Mulberry High School in Tampa, allegedly left his phone in plain sight paused on a pornographic video.
One student, Destiny Potter, secretly filmed Gonzalez as she approached his desk and pretended to throw something in the trash can. The video was later posted to Snapchat and seen by dozens of her classmates.
"You can do that, just not at school when you have kids in your class— because that's just nastiness," Potter said.
On further investigation, it was revealed Gonzalez, "visited the same gay porn and hookup site 383 times in a span of two weeks—including a number of times during school hours."
He has been charged with four counts of showing obscene material to minors.
