Superfruit Feels Their Love Fading In "Goodbye From Lonely" Video

Pentatonix members Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying, queens of the desert.

Much like Sam Smith, Superfruit is too good at goodbyes.

Following summery bops like "Vacation," “Heartthrob,” and "How You Feeling?,” the duo takes it down a notch with their moody new video for “Goodbye From Lonely.”

Superfruit's artsy, black-and-white fantasy features vocalists Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying going through it out in the desert sun, lamenting a solid relationship that’s suddenly on the rocks.

“I'm coming apart and I can't breathe,” they sing. “Oh, every part of me was tethered to what we used to be.”

Grassi and Hoying are also founding and current gay members of the Grammy-winning a cappella quintet Pentatonix. "With Superfruit, it’s a little more gay-friendly and a lot more open, more sexual, more liberated," Grassi recently told Out when comparing the two groups.

“Goodbye From Lonely" can be found on Superfruit’s deluxe debut studio album, Future Friends, which is out now.

Since the duo formed in 2013, Superfruit's videos have amassed more than 350 million views.
