Gay Duo Superfruit Is Cool For The Summer In “Vacation” Video

Pentatonix members Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying bring the party wherever they go.

You can’t always reach the beach.

Following the rapid release of summer jams “Imaginary Parties,” “Bad 4 Us,” and “Worth It (Perfect),” Superfruit has dropped a new video for their hot track “Vacation.”

The pop duo’s latest candy-colored fantasy features vocalists Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying making the most of their bleak surroundings, brightening up the industrial grayness with their boldest fashion statements. Sometimes it’s about looks, not location.

Grassi and Hoying are also founding and current gay members of the Grammy-winning a cappella quintet Pentatonix. “With Superfruit, it’s a little more gay-friendly and a lot more open, more sexual, more liberated,” Grassi recently told Out when comparing the two groups.

“Vacation” can be found on Future Friends, Superfruit’s new two-part debut studio album. Future Friends—Part One is available now, with Future Friends—Part Two to follow September 15.

Since the duo formed in 2013, Superfruit’s videos have amassed more than 350 million views.
