The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festival is currently under way in Australia, and event organizers released a hilarious and heartwarming video to celebrate its theme of "Creating Equality" in support of same-sex marriage.

The short opens on a family celebrating a father's birthday, when the son nervously gets up to make an announcement.
