#TBT: The Spice Girls Avoid Each Other In Iconic Tesco Holiday Ad

The Spice Girls proved once and for all in 2007 that celebrities ARE just like us — they also go to great lengths to avoid people they don’t want to talk to while cruising around the supermarket.

Such was the plot for a brilliant series of ads for British chain Tesco that the group appeared in together eight years ago — seven years after their famed breakup.

The girls put their best acting faces on in the first ad below, which finds them walking around Tesco picking up gifts for each other. They scramble to hide behind toys, clothes, and even a Christmas tree as they begin spotting each other weaving throughout the aisles.

A+ acting job from Emma, Mel B, Mel C and Geri. Victoria is also great, though to be honest, avoiding The Spice Girls and genuinely not wanting to be seen with them isn’t really an act for her.
