Colton Haynes Is Back In New "Teen Wolf" Preview—And Making Out With Charlie Carver

"I can't believe you actually thought I forgot our anniversary."

Teen Wolf is bringing back some familiar faces for its final few episodes, including Colton Haynes, who plays werewolf-kanima hybrid Jackson Whittemore.

Haynes left the show after the second season but returns in the September 10 episode, when viewers discover he's been living in London. Oh, and he's now gay and in a relationship with fellow lycanthrope Ethan (Charlie Carver).

In a new preview, appropriately titled "American Werewolf in London," Ethan thinks his boyfriend has forgotten their anniversary when he's beset by a pair of hunters.

But as they start to tie him up, Ethan reveals they needed to do a better job subduing his man. Jackson then springs into action and, in a delicious fight scene, takes down their assailants.

“We’re an odd couple,” Carver told EW of the couple. “[Colton's] character is always been kind of an arrogant prick, so I’m the one who tones him down.”

In Season One and Two, Jackson was in a long-term relationship with Lydia Martin, but Haynes says his coming out "makes total sense—That’s why Jackson carried around that angst.”

Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis said he'd decided to put Jackson in a same-sex relationship long ago. “I thought, if Jackson comes back, he’s coming back in a relationship with a guy. Whether that means he’s bisexual or gay, that’s how he’s returning. I just felt like he went off to London and found himself.”

Watch Teen Wolf, Sundays at 8/7c on MTV.
