Tennessee Hardware Store Hangs Sign Declaring "No Gays Allowed"

Well, the backlash against marriage equality has begun: An East Tennessee hardware store has hung a sign declaring “No Gays Allowed.”

Jeff Amyx, owner of Amyx Hardware & Roofing Supplies in Grainger County, insists he's simply standing up for his Christian values, reports WBIR 10.

“They gladly stand for what they believe in, why can’t I?” said Amyx, who's also a Baptist minister. “They believe their way is right, I believe it’s wrong. But yet I’m going to take more persecution than them because I’m standing for what I believe in.”

Oh no, we're not allowed in your hardware store?!? Guess we'll have to go to Loew's, Home Depot, Menards, Ace...
