The 10 Hottest “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Contestants Out of Drag

RuPaul’s Drag Race is a competition based on the unbeatable criteria of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, but a quick glance at the show’s contestant history proves that deadly good looks may be a part of the package. And sometimes the package is part of the deadliness. Ow-ow! Cue the chicken laugh, Detox.

In a toast to the sexy dudes behind the mascara and sequins, let us count down the ten hottest men in the history of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Bifocals ready, because the library of sexiness is new open.

(Disclaimer: Consider this list an indirect tribute to the gorgeous — meaning in and out of drag — Sahara Davenport. She’s not with us anymore, but part of her eternal legend is her unbelievable beauty. She’s the unranked champ here.)

10. Shangela Laquifa Wadley (D.J. Pierce)

The comeback queen of season three (who was eliminated in the first episode of season two) is also a very successful TV actor. You watched her on the Thanksgiving episode of Glee, did you not? I prefer her work on Community, personally, but we can all agree D.J. Pierce’s grin and seeeexy arms are a universal treat.

9. Raven (David Petruschin)

I think Raven remains the queen I’d most like to hang out with. Unpretentious, great runway presentation, funny, and perhaps the most naturally glum pout since Laraine Newman. Sexy.

8. Tyra Sanchez (James Ross)

The crowned queen of season two may not have been my choice to win — I love you, Pandora Boxx! — but I admit her pageantry was worthy of RuPaul’s famous compliment, “Your p*ssy was on fire.” Not only is she hot in these photos, but she was especially endearing when talking about her beloved son.

7. Alisa Summers (Alex Hernandez)

Digging deep here! Alisa Summers was a one-episode wonder of season four, as the judges did not appreciate her breastplate-centric outfit. Though she may have lost the lip-sync to the mesmerizing magic of Jiggy Caliente, we’ll always remember his fine eyes and modelesque lips.

6. Ivy Winters (Dustin Winters)

(Source #1, Source #2)

Uh, bone structure, anyone? Ivy Winters has Gothic architecture embedded in her cheekbones, and there’s a chance her jaw is modeled after either Glenn Close or Grace Jones. Her winning smile is definitely her sexiest feature, as well as the Ace Ventura hair swoop.

5. Tatianna (Joey Santolini)

Never forget that Tatianna’s “Snatch Game” turn as Britney Spears was one of the funniest moments in the history of the show. Sorry, Jinkx Monsoon’s plagiarized Little Edie bit doesn’t even compare to Tatianna. “I sat on Lady Gaga’s disco stick and got LOST” is classic “Snatch Game” perfection. Sure, the girl rested on pretty too often in the competition, but as you can see, it was a pretty sumptuous asset to work with.

4. Jade (David Sotomayor)

(Source #1, Source #2)

Well, Jade’s most memorable moment on Drag Race may have been her not-so-diplomatic parting words for Rebecca Glasscock, but let’s re-shape history and our memories by focusing on Jade’s general gorgeousness. Those abs? They are real. That sinister face? Is working for me. And finally, someone who wears camouflage the way the military intended it.

3. Phi Phi O’Hara (Jaremi Carey)

I think the most suspenseful moment in RPDR history was the week leading up to season four’s finale. Sharon Needles, Chad Michaels, and Phi Phi O’Hara were all bankable candidates for the win, and although Sharon swept up the title, may Phi Phi always be remembered for her abject sexiness. Judging by these pictures, he spends quite a bit of his male life enjoying bodily dampness. And who can complain about that?

2. Lineysha Sparx (Andy Trinidad)

The Puerto Rican queen of season five was also its Great White Shark of fishiness. Just an unbelievably gorgeous face that could turn into Beyonce or Jody Watley at a moment’s notice. And did I mention she has eyes deeper than her beloved Caribbean?

1. Raja (Sutan Amrull)

(Source #1, Source #2)

Raja understands how to make models look great (as he was the makeup guru on America’s Next Top Model), and from that factoid alone you know she understands attitude, talent, and ferociousness. It should come as no surprise that the undisputed queen of season three (and very likely the greatest queen in the history of the show) is downright beautiful thanks to her striking, one-of-a-kind face. And she’s a hell of an interviewee too! Can’t go wrong with Raja at #1.
