The A-List: New York, which debuts on Logo this Monday, October 4th at 10pm ET is already known to be a splashy, possibly silly/entertaining/fluffy look at the live of six upwardly mobile gay men living the “fabulous” life in New York. But, like any of us, the cast members are no strangers to the homophobia and bullying which is prevalent in the world, and that has sadly been the cause of many recent deaths of gay youth.
So, in light of all the tragic events of this past week, the A-List cast used their visit to the folks at AoL PopEater on Friday as a chance to shoot a PSA about the current crisis. Have a look (above).
Please share the message with friends, if you like. And if you’re in New York City tomorrow (Sunday, October 3rd), come out and attend the “You Are Loved” Glowlight Vigil happening in Washington Square Park at 9pm. If you come, bring glowsticks (get them at a party or craft store) as the park has a “no candles” policy, and carrying lit candles could get the event shut down (weird, right?).
Also, out actor Neil Patrick Harris shot a video for MTV News offering his response to the week’s events.
Well said, NPH.
