For those unfamiliar with this season’s Bachelorette, Jef Holm is a contestant who has something the other guys don’t: a cuddly, teddy bear-like personality, and Robyn hair. He also happens to have a wardrobe that ranges from artfully accentuated to borderline crazy, but always brilliant. Here are his top five looks so far (though it’s fair to expect some stellar ensembles as the season comes to a close):
5. Swaggin’ Sailor
Ships ahoy! I’ve seen too many movies with too many jumpsuit-clad Mafiosos on boats to not appreciate a simple tank top paired with spotless white converses (seriously, Emily, look out for this one–anyone who can keep light-colored shoes that clean is prime dad material).
4. Well, One Does Want a Hint of Plaid
A light gray suede blazer paired with a darker plaid shirt and navy tie. Genius. It takes what everyone else is wearing and says “Hey, I do it better. I grab your attention, but I’m not too busy. Hey. Look into my eyes.”
3. “I Will Build You a White Picket Fence, With Just Enough Time to Make Enchiladas and Read The Sorcerer’s Stone to your Kid”
I mean, can’t you just see it?
2. Brave, So Brave
Sure, all the guys had to wear this, but when Jef said “I’m wearing a kilt in Croatia!”, he said it with such a boyish joy. He loved every minute of this, making him the best.
1. School of Rock
“Sometimes we need someone to be stupid with.” They cut the part after where he pulled out his guitar and serenaded Emily with his rendition of “Over the Hills and Far Away”.
