Fans of The Blonds have come to expect eye-popping ensembles that make the fiercest of drag queen divas swoon with envy.

On Tuesday night, the downtown designer duo put on a horror flick-themed show that didn’t disappoint.

David and Phillipe Blond, known for their trademark corsets designed for starlets like Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, unveiled their fall 2013 collection during MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios.

Along with the gem-encrusted corsets and beaded bustiers the Blonds do so well, the line featured blood-spattered patterns, knife-shaped accessories and a few bolder pieces, such as a faux chinchilla jumpsuit cinched with a red belt and a white fur straight jacket that must’ve been a feat to sport down the runway. Other bondage looks included a tangled rope-and-sparkles corset dress and a skin-baring dress stacked with white leather belts.

The models, in their curly blonde wigs teased several inches high, each took on the personae of a Hollywood horror-inspired character. There was “Tippi,” in a green ostrich jeweled corset and skirt inspired by “The Birds”; “Jack,” in a printed polyurethane corset featuring Jack Nicholson’s crazy-eyed face from “The Shining”; “Carrie,” in a rose gold gown with a tight metallic bodice and flowy skirt; and “Ruby Rain,” in a see-through trench coat stuffed with jewels to glam up that scream-filled shower scene from the Hitchcock classic.

Carmen Electra enjoyed the killer chic looks from the front row, fittingly dressed in black corset embellished with black Onyx stones, and then joined the designers at the after-party at The Out hotel in Hell's Kitchen.

For the show’s finale, designer Phillipe Blond emerged in a dazzling skintight catsuit that coated him in ruby red sparkles from his chin to his Louboutin-stiletto toe.

Maybe Mattel will get inspired to roll out the next drag queen Barbie this Halloween.
