The Cast Of "The Nanny" Reunited At Fran Drescher's House

Miss FINE!

It's no shocker that The Nanny is one of our all-time favorite sitcoms. Part of the reason why—in addition to the campy humor and stellar delivery—is how obvious it was that the cast loved each other.

Last week, Charles Shaughnessy—a.k.a. Mr. Sheffield—posted photos on Facebook from a mini-Nanny reunion he had with former co-stars Fran Drescher and Renee Taylor at Drescher's home.

The gathering was in honor of Taylor's 83rd birthday.

“An evening with the mother in law! Happy Birthday, Renee!!” Shaughnessy wrote in the accompanying post.

Taylor and husband Joseph Bologna co-wrote the Broadway hit Lovers and Other Strangers in 1968 and received Oscar nominations for the screenplay for the 1970 film adaptation. She's continued to act post-Nanny, including roles in Ice Age: The Meltdown, How I Met Your Mother, Victorious and Bob's Burgers.

Watch The Nanny weekdays on Logo.
