The Tribeca Film Festival is on right now, and New York’s luminaries are out in full force, attending premieres, talks and panels, and generally swanning about. As per the usual, they’d rather mingle with each other, rather than any of us, though they’d be thrilled (thrilled!) if we’d go see their movies, of course. Robert De Niro was there to preside over the festivities, along with some of city’s celeb mainstays, and a good collection of Hollywood types have temporarily transplanted themselves here for the timebeing, to schmooze, eat (well, look at) deli, and marvel at this curious thing called weather we have here.
