The First Ghastly Look At Neil Patrick Harris On "American Horror Story: Freak Show" (SPOILERS)
When Ryan Murphy announced Neil Patrick Harris was going to appear in this season of American Horror Story, we couldn't quite figure out how the peppy triple-threat would fit into the gruesome anthology series.
Of course, that was before we saw NPH in Gone Girl. The guy has creepy down pat.
In the teaser for the show's next episode—not airing until January 7, mind you—we see Harris as a Chester, a mysterious magician who convinces Bette and Dot to be his assistants. There's also a jealous Dandy, Stanley making Jimmy an unholy offer, and a strange looking ventriloquist's dummy. ("She relaxes me!")
Harris will appear in episodes 11 and 12, while his hubby, David Burtka, will guest star in the season finale.
Also returning: Series fave Jamie Brewer, who as HuffPo points out, kind of looks like a real-life version of that dummy. Hmm...
