So when Jonathan Hyla, host of Australia's The Project, spoke with Cate about her role as the wicked stepmother in Cinderella, she let him know what she thought of his interviewing skills.

After bumbling through some inane banter, Hyla tried to bring things back to the movie.

“How were you able to get that cat to do what you wanted to on a leash?” Hyla asked Blanchett, referencing a moment from the film. “I tried putting my girlfriend’s cat on a leash and it just never works for me.”

“That’s your question?” Blanchett responded. “That’s your fucking question?”
