“The Golden Girls” Funko Dolls Are On Their Way

We hope Blanche comes with a tear-away outfit.

For a show that’s been off the air for almost 25 years, The Golden Girls is as relevant as ever: On the heels of news that fans are opening a Rue McClanahan Cafe in New York comes word that our favorite foursome are being turned into Funko dolls.

Funko president Brian Mariotti announced last fall that the company would be making a line of its signature big-headed vinyl figures in the likeness of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sofia. This week, a Funko collector shared the concept art from the company’s new catalog from ToyFair 2016 in New York.
The company is also prepping dolls this year from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The A-Team, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, and other 80s faves.
