The Hot Castro Cop Is Now A Menswear Model, Not Allowed To Patrol The Castro
Officer Chris Kohrs, a.k.a. San Francisco's beloved Hot Cop of the Castro, is giving back to the community as the new face of local men's clothier Blade + Blue.
Kohrs reveals in the behind-the-scene video below that the SFPD actually removed him from regular duty in the Castro because his viral fame was hindering his ability to perform his job. "They prefer to keep me out of the Castro area just because it gets kind of crazy sometimes when I go down there," he says.
See, you guys? This is why we can't have nice things.
We've seen him in full uniform and shirtless and sopping wet before, but we must admit Officer Kohrs looks best posing in casual wear for a great cause: A portion of the proceeds from his collaboration with Blade + Blue will benefit the Officer Down Memorial Fund.
