Good news Hunger Games fans: Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are all contracted for the entire franchise. So there won’t be any “will they or won’t they sign up for the sequel” BS we often have to deal with (ahem Twilight).

The cast and director are featured on the cover of this week’s The Hollywood Reporter and the article lets us in on some secrets including how much it cost to make the movie ($90 million) and how much they’re paying Jennifer for the first film ($500,000 plus bonuses).

The funniest reveal? Chris Hemsworth love to insult his brother. “My brother Chris texted me before shooting and told me to lose weight,” Liam reveals. “He said, 'It's called The Hunger Games, not The Eating Games!’”

Here’s more revelations:

  • Jenny L. almost turned down the offer! “I was so in love with the books and the script, and suddenly it was right in my face — and the size of the decision was terrifying. I called my mom and she called me a hypocrite, because when I was doing indie movies and everyone was asking why I didn’t do studio movies, I said, 'The size of the movie doesn’t matter.' And she said, 'Here’s a movie you love and you were thinking of turning it down because of its size.' I thought about it a good three days. It was very daunting to know that one 'yes' could change my life."
  •  Suzanne Collins came up with the concept for the books while flipping between reality TV and the war in Iraq.
  • There were 300 bears living in the woods where they filmed THG and they often came out when they smelled food.
  • Josh Hutcherson had to lie still in a riverbed for an entire hour and a half while they put camouflage makeup on him. He could “not move a muscle or it would mess it up when they shot.” Wow. The things people sacrifice in the name of art.
  • Jennifer Lawrence was taken to the hospital after almost bursting her spleen. “I had to do 10 ‘wall runs,’ where you run at the wall as hard as you can to get traction. I ran at it and my foot didn’t go up, so I caught the wall with my stomach. My trainer thought I had burst my spleen. I had to get a CAT scan and go into a tube where they put this fiery liquid in your body.” Well, at least you didn’t have to get painted while lying Jen.
  • The Hunger Games will hit theaters March 23.
