Rumors of the song's meaning are circulating on social media that the "electric slide" is actually a vibrator.

According to Aazios, the celebratory single's songwriter, 71-year-old Neville Livingston, aka, Bunny Wailer, has confirmed the song is indeed about a sex toy.

"I'm surprised it took people this long to figure out," Wailer told an unidentified source. Apparently, Wailer wrote the song after a girlfriend told him she no longer needed his...services...because had a new gadget she dubbed the "electric slide."
