By now a good portion of the human population has seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and superfans are already hard at work on theories for the next installment.

One theory that's getting some serious traction: A romantic relationship between Stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) and ace pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).

Romance between Star Wars characters is hardly new—there was Leia and Luke, er, Han, and of course Padme and Anakin. But the Internet is shipping Poe and Finn like mad.

There's even fan art dedicated to the two.

At a first glance, it would seem as if the obvious choice for a pairing would be between Finn and Rey (Daisy Ridley), but theirs is more of a brother-sister dynamic.

Poe and Finn, on the other hand, arent in many scenes together—they only exchange a handful of words, actually—but Finn seems enamored with Poe beyond just admiration. He even lets Finn wear his jacket, saying "It suits you."

Asked about any romances between characters, Isaac told Ellen DeGeneres, "I think there's a very subtle relationship happening. You have to watch the film a few times to see the little hints, but there was. At least I was playing romance... I won't say with which character."

Well, there you go. He pretty much confirmed it.
