If you are living in Salt Lake City and looking forward to watching Ryan Murphy's new gay comedy The New Normal, we got some bad news for you. The Mormon owned KSL-TV, the local NBC affiliate, has decided against airing the show. They have deemed the sitcom "inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time." Well, there's always Hulu.

This is not the first time KSL-TV has refused to air a NBC program, also keeping Saturday Night LiveThe Playboy ClubCoupling, and The Book of Daniel off the air.

Normal star and lifelong friend of the gays Ellen Barkin was quick to address the KSL decision on Twitter, writing;  "Shame on u @kslcom not airing @NBCTheNewNormal So L&O SVU (rape & child murder) is ok? But loving gay couple having a baby is inappropriate?"

While we can't support KSL's ridiculous move, we are always in favor of Barkin lashing out on Twitter.
