The Way We Were: Join In "The Straight Years Project"

In honor of the Awkward Years Project, we at Logo bring you the Straight Years Project, where openly gay adults are invited to submit visual proof of their straight years—however fab or rachet they may have been.

Want to submit your own then-and-now photo? Here's the fine print:

  • Your photo should feature yourself currently as a gay adult and you as a straight person in your earlier years.

  • You must own the rights to your photo. Please no professional photos, only snapshots will be accepted.

  • Both photos must be clear and easy to see.

  • You will be asked to fill out a release form for each individual person featured in the photo.

  • No inappropriate shots containing nudity or lewd gestures will be used.

  • No visible brands can be present. if we use the photo the brand will be blurred.

  • Make sure your photo is at least 500px in width.

    • Email your photo and what year you came out to straightyearsproject@gmail.com
