To Russia... With Kurt?

In the most insane Glee-related news we've seen in a while (and that's saying something), E! Online reports that Fox is in talks to focus the Season 6 storyline around moving Kurt Hummel to Russia. The move would allow the show to deal with the hot-button topic of gay rights in the former Soviet Union, but there's no clear reason why Kurt would say dosvedanya. Did he get some music scholarship? Would Blaine come with? Is Santana going to work at a Russian diner?

Up next: Ryan Murphy moves the Gleeks into a spaceship and send them on an intergalactic adventure. It could happen!

Whatever Kurt's fate, Colfer is wistful but accepting about Season 6:  “I think we’ve known for a while that would probably be the final season for it," he told Queen Latifah this week. "The show’s just done so much for so many people that I think it’s okay to conclude. I think it’s good.” He added that he feels "very, very fulfilled,” by his award-winning role.

Amber Riley

Amber Riley Dancing With The... Knee Injury?

We know Amber Riley is fierce, but we didn't realize just how fierce: The Dancing with the Stars contestant  has been nursing a bad knee for weeks, and even managed a perfect 30 on Monday's group performance despite the injury. “The day started off shaky but we pulled it together! Had so much fun tonight!” Amber tweeted.

Riley, who dazzled in the recent Spell Block Tango viral video, is no dummy: She's visiting a doctor to make sure she's safe to keep dancing on her wounded joint. “Taking a break today and going to the doctor to make sure my knees are ok for this week,” she tweeted. We're all hoping for a speedy recovery!

505glee_sc32_0174Spoiler Alert: Kurt Hummel Gets Some Ink

He's known as "porcelain" to tyrant Sue Sylvester on the show, but according to spoiler sources, on the November 17 episode, "The End of Twerking," Kurt decides to mark his ivory skin with a tattoo. Apparently he intends to get "It Gets Better," but of course in true slapstick Glee fashion, there's a typo. (It gets bitter?)

Too bad nothing can live up to the glory of Quinn's Ryan Seacrest tramp stamp from Season 3!

alex newellUnique Opportunity

Breakout glee star Alex Newell, who plays trans student Wade “Unique” Adams on Glee, has signed a deal with Atlantic Records, to release a album on Deep Well Records, the imprint of Glee‘s executive music producer Adam Anders. “While working with Alex on Glee, I immediately realized how broad and unique his talent was,” said Anders.

Glee Gets Puppet Treatment

We don't know exactly what's going on, but Ryan Murphy tweeted a picture of a handful of Glee character puppets from the set. Could there be an Avenue Q episode in the works—"The Internet Is For Porn" anyone? If there isn't at least one fisting joke in it, then Glee has totally failed us.

Glee Takes Massive Hiatus, Cancels Christmas

CHRISTMAS_ALBUM_ GLEE

Although it was announced last year, Glee missing from the midseason Fox schedule caused a moment of panic for dedicated fans. But not to worry, the show is taking a prolonged hiatus to make room for a new legal drama, Rake, and will return in the spring. What we don't know is what the structure of the second half of Season 5 will look like, especially since the timeline is falling out of synch (club members still haven't graduated from the previous  school year and it's almost November!).

We do know, however, that no holiday album is on the books for Glee this year. Bah, humbug! Columbia Records chairman Rob Stringer revealed to Billboard that Glee will not be putting out a Christmas album for the first time in three years. The rationale wasn't financial, apparently: Stringer admitted, “I think we sold 1.87 [million] albums of the Glee Christmas editions.”  Of course, the adjusted Glee timeline in Season 5 makes a holiday episode and album nonsensical, even if us Gleeks will miss out on the traditional Klaine holiday duet.

We're Just Gonna Leave It Here

Before we get to Christmas, though, we have to get through Halloween: There's nothing you can do but swoon at Chris Colfer, boyfriend Will Sherrod and cat Brian dressed up as a sexy Star Wars trio for Halloween. (Yep, we'll say it: that cat is sexy.)
