This Iowa Couple's Anti-Gay Billboard Campaign Has Amassed A Whopping... $153
A Mennonite couple in Grimes, Iowa have only managed to amass $153 in funding in their effort to place “1,000 points of light” across the nation in the form of anti-gay billboards.
Dick and Betty Odgaard, co-owners of the soon-to-close Görtz Haus Gallery in Grimes (the same couple who refused to host a same-sex couple’s wedding at the establishment in 2013), have recently launched “God’s Original Design Ministry" to "advance Christian teachings, Biblical ordinances and natural laws as God intended."

They even offer a series of fliers on their site which they encourage people to "place a flier on every windshield in your church parking lot" and "repeat with a different message the next week."
Unfortunately for the couple (or, fortunately for supporters of equality) their Fund Me America campaign is coming up a little short, with only 6 donations so far comprising a total of $153.
