This Trans Man Re-Created Adam Levine's Legendary Nude Photo
A transgender man has re-created a famed photo of Adam Levine that featured the Maroon 5 completely naked except for a pair of hands strategically covering his manhood.
Model Aydian Dowling posed in the altogether for FTM Magazine's April issue. “Some areas of my body used to remind me of everything I’m not," Dowling says in the magazine. "Now they represent everything I am."
Levine originally posed for the provocative photo in a 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan to help raise awareness of prostate cancer. Dowling, the owner of Point 5cc Clothing, is also an artist, motivational speaker and an advocate for trans rights.
